Health services at the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital will be boost with the inauguration and blessing of the refurbished radiology room and the acquisition of brand new state-of-the-art equipment.
Gov. Roel Degamo, Dr. Felix Sy, chief of the NOPH, Dr. Dante Domingo and chief of the Provincial Health Office led Monday’s ceremony that was attended by Rema Ohno and Takihiru Fjimoto, officials of Himex, the Japanese donor agency.
The P60-million project, the first partnership between a provincial government hospital and a private aid agency, is now operational and offers services such as CT scan, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, modern X-ray machines, and ultrasound scan, among others.
